Fine One One Review

Benefits Fine One One
Say hello to Benefits first cream blush! This blush stick consists of a coral orange, a watermelon pink, and a sugary pink highlight. Its very creamy and is super easy to apply! We would recommend this for beginners or those who need something quick and easy for the morning rush. It retails for $30 and is really just a fun and unique product! Check this out at Sephora or Ulta and you won't regret it!

BB Cream Review

BB creams have been in the spotlight for a little while now and we thought we would do a review on the ones we have come to love!

Loreal Magic Skin BB Cream
This creamy white product looks a little odd, but is in fact a mixture of sunscreen, moisturizer, primer, and beads of pigment that burst on the skin. It only comes in 4 shades, but they blend really nicely on the skin. We would highly recommend this BB Cream even though it is a little pricey for drugstore. It retails at around $11.

Garnier BB Cream
This BB cream leans more towards a foundation consistency.  It is very thick, but moisturizes nicely and gives you a SPF of 15.  One downside of this product is that it only comes in two shades, but it does blend out nicely.  This BB Cream is also on the pricier side of drugstore, retailing for about $11.

Maybelline Dream Fresh BB Cream
This BB Cream is the most affordable of them all, and is a thin lightweight texture. It is a light coverage  and is great for throwing on for the weekends. As you can see from the swatches, the product is much more orange toned than the rest. Overall a nice product to have in your collection.

Dr. Jart Water Fuse BB Cream
This BB cream is far from drugstore, with the high price of $34.  It does give nice coverage and leaves your face nice and dewy.  Also a little goes a long way so the product does last for a long time, but overall we don't think this BB Cream  is really worth it's high price.

We hope this review helped! Stay tuned for future reviews!

MAC Mineralized Skinfinsh Review

MAC Mineralized Skinfinishes are very well known.  They are most often used as highlights and can really help accentuate your cheekbones.  The two colors that are in MAC's permanent collection are Soft and Gentle, shown above and reviewed below, and gold deposit which is not shown but is a very dark golden brown.  If neither of those colors are for you, make sure you check all the special collections because they often have some really good ones.  They cost around $30 in the U.S. and are sold anywhere where MAC is sold.

Soft and Gentle-- This mineralized skin finish is great for many skin tones.  It is a nice shimmery gold color and really makes your face glow.

Lightscapade (limited edition)-- This highlight works on all skin tones and is especially good for fair skin.  It is a nice shimmery beige color, with silver undertones, and gives a pearly glow to the face.

Star Wonder (limited edition)-- This MSF can be a blush or a highlight.  It works especially well for darker skin tones, with a dark berry color as the blush color and then touches of gold and light pink to work as the highlight.

Overall review-- These are great highlights.  The go on smooth and you can layer them for a darker or more noticeable look, or just give your cheekbones a light sweep for just a hint of shimmer.  We really enjoy these products, and we hope you found this review helpful.

Maybelline Baby Lips Review

Cherry Me - Don't let this firetruck red fool you, for this chapstick appears as a sheer muted red, and gives the lips a nice flush.

Grape Vine - In the tube this chapstick appears quite vampy and scary, but on the lips it becomes a gorgeous shade of berry.  It smells just like a grape jolly rancher, and is one of our favorites!

Pink Punch - This shocking pink is unlike the others, for it is truly what it looks like in the tube!  It's a hot pink and is extremely pigmented.

Yummy Plummy - This muted plum, comes off very natural and gives a mauve hint to the lips.   We wouldn't recommend it if you're looking for color, but is very natural.

Coral Crush - This chapstick is indeed coral.  It's citrusy and adds a fresh and orange tint to your lips without being too outrageous.

Peach Kiss - This peach scented balm is a shimmery neutral color and is great for everyday.

Quenched & Peppermint -  These two chapsticks are not swatched given that they are just clear balms, but they do smell great and are perfect moisturizers.

Overall Review - These lip balms give great moisture, SPF 20, pigmentation, and they smell good too.  They have a wide variety of colors and we would highly recommend them!
